ABOUT CLEAR LAKE OUTDOOR WORKS
Different Outdoor Specialties. One Team.
Clear Lake Outdoor Works brings together nursery expertise, landscape design, irrigation, tree work and construction so property owners don’t have to coordinate every trade themselves.

Built Around a 40-Acre Lakeport Ranch and Nursery
The heart of the business is Laura’s 40-acre ranch in the Lakeport area, where she has built an expansive nursery containing hundreds of local and artisanal plant varieties.
What began with plants naturally connects to the larger property: landscapes need water, trees need management, slopes need solutions and outdoor spaces often need construction. Clear Lake Outdoor Works brings those pieces together.
Laura
Project Manager • Designer • Nursery Grower • Plant Specialist
Laura is the creative and horticultural center of Clear Lake Outdoor Works. She combines an exceptional green thumb with design instincts and project-management experience. The massive nursery she has created on the ranch gives projects access to an unusually broad plant palette and allows landscape planning to begin with the plants themselves.
Sloan
Drought-Tolerant Irrigation • Landscaping
Sloan specializes in practical, water-conscious irrigation and landscape solutions. His experience helps connect the planting plan with the water system needed to sustain it through Northern California’s dry season.
Conrad
Landscaping • Irrigation • Tree & Outdoor Property Work
Conrad brings complementary field experience across landscaping, irrigation, tree trimming and general outdoor-property work, allowing the team to approach projects as complete sites rather than isolated services.
Robin
Retaining Walls • Construction • Hardscape
Robin contributes the construction-minded side of the business, particularly retaining walls and structural outdoor work. His element brings design/build thinking and the craftsmanship orientation associated with EK Construction into projects where landscape and construction meet.

Why Put These Specialties Under One Roof?
Because outdoor projects overlap. A retaining wall affects irrigation and planting. Tree trimming changes light and usable space. A deck changes circulation. New planting may require a different water plan.
Our aim is to look at what the property needs as a whole and assemble the right combination of people and services for the project.
